Description

Soak-off Gel offers the advantage of being easily wash off from acetone in comparison with traditional gel. Being a product in gel family, the applying process is the same with traditional gel, the gel is applied in layers before taken under UV light for cure. The process of Soak-off Gel generally takes 6 following steps: • Step 1: File, shape and buff your nails. • Step 2: Apply a cuticle remover around the base of your nails. Use a cuticle stick to push back any skin off of your nail plate. Then use a cuticle trimmer to cut dead skin around the cuticle. Remove any remaining oil or debris from your nail with a cotton ball that’s been dipped in acetone. • Step 3: Apply a very thin layer of your basecoat to your nails. In this step, you will not have the gel on your fingers. Cure your base coat underneath the UV light for 45 seconds. • Step 4: Once your base layer has cured completely, apply one coat of gel color. We use gel color to paint over the edge tip of your nail. This will keep the gel from curling back off your nail. Cure each layer under a UV lamp for 45 seconds. • Step 5: Apply the top gel coat to your nails. Then cure the gel polish under a UV light for 45 seconds. • Step 6: Remove the tacky layer. Simply take a cotton ball dipped in isopropyl alcohol and wipe over the tacky. We will finish off the soak-off gel by rubbing a cuticle oil onto the skin around the base of your nails.
